Our son’s journey with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and N-Able Services
Situation
Following a diagnosis of CP, our son Tom, who was unable to mobilise independently and required gastronomy feed, struggled to flourish in mainstream school. My husband had stopped work to care for Tom.
Solution
We were referred to N-Able Services and worked with a wonderful Case Manager. She understood the difficulties we were experiencing and was brilliant with Tom. She immediately began to source a team of support staff to help Tom and us, and worked with the school to develop positive communication strategies with Tom and the staff. She made sure all his therapies were in place and managed the communication and coordination with the whole team, including us.
Outcome
Tom’s behaviour and relationships improved within school – he began to enjoy his education! He loves to see his support team and his communication has improved dramatically. Overall, he is a happier, more engaged young boy. It also enabled my husband to return to work and start his own business. All through the support and care of our Case Manager
Working with N-Able has improved our family relationships and changed Tom’s life.
